Roadworks to widen the Milton Interchange

Roadworks to widen the Milton Interchange to three lanes have started as part of a longer-term programme to improve traffic capacity at the junction.
The works will include measures to improve traffic flows in all directions, to widen the exit at Milton Park, provide new signaling, pedestrian access and create new cycle paths.
The work is being carried out on behalf of Oxfordshire County Council, the Highways Agency by Hope and Clay and are funded primarily by Section 106 payments from MEPC Milton Park. The activity has been very carefully programmed to carefully minimise disruption to all road users. For this reason many of the improvements will be undertaken during off peak and overnight periods.
Oxfordshire Highways have set up a hotline for more information and to answer any questions. Please call 0845 310 1111.
