History of Milton Park, Oxfordshire
Originally part of Milton Manor estate, the current business park site was requisitioned by the MoD and developed in the late 1930s as a railway-supplied depot for military supplies and vehicle workshops. A few small units and the officers' mess, now known as Park House – No. 11, still remain. After World War II the site fell largely into disuse until it was acquired by MEPC in 1984, who funded a new infrastructure of roads and services, followed by the first offices in 1988. Since then, MEPC has invested heavily in Milton Park, Oxford and today it comprises over 3 million sq ft of accommodation.
In recent years we have formed a strong partnership with The Oxford Trust, which actively works to support the high-tech industry in Oxfordshire
